This is by far my favourite transformation as it was not long after starting a new role and I was ready to prove myself!
A business lounge near a busy tram stop with all the issues that come with a grade 2 listed building such as dodgy aircon in the middle of summer to be turned into a black box event space at the request of the speaker. Normally you would attach draping to the walls and dim the lights, neither of these things were possible. I worked with an AV company who had to bring in a build free standing draping, add uplighters and hidden fans to keep the space cool. It was tricky to keep within budget but after some clever negotiations with catering company for guaranteed use at further events I managed to pull off a black box transformation within a tight budget!
